People sometimes ask me what views I accept. When that happens, I might ask them if they know where the washroom is and leave hoping never to run into them again. Why? Because being put on the spot, especially by strangers, can be uncomfortable. So, some people probably think I don’t have any views, but that’s not the case. I just have bouts of social anxiety.
Anyway, below, I’ll mention some views I do accept.
Fallibilism.
Dogmatism.
Phenomenal Conservatism (note: it has nothing to do with politics; and it likely entails Dogmatism, which in turn entails Fallibilism, but hey, more views to mention.)
Moral realism.
Mortalism.
Oh, and you might also wonder whether there are any views I reject? Um, yeah!
Idealism.
External World Skepticism.
Immortalism.
Divine Providence.
The Multiverse.
Those are really dumb views to hold. (Let ‘em go, folks, just let ‘em go.)
I also think that views like Utilitarianism and Antinatalism are wrong but maybe not as dumb to hold as, say, Idealism. Still wrong though.
Anyway, now y’all can see that I’m not so viewless after all.
Happy to see you've come around on dogmatism Oscar!
